Jesus said that just before the 7 year Tribulation begins, then various global turbulences will occur as signs of His nearness like 'earth- quakes' and 'the roaring of the seas' .
He called them 'birth pangs'sincethey 'will deliver' the world into the foretold 7 years of Tribulation. [Math.24:7,8,9].
Today, these birth pangs [like earthquakes] will increase GLOBAL-LY in frequency AND intensity,like birth pangs do, as this generation draws closer to the very 'start' of the foretold Tribulation.

"Why?" do devastating earthquakes occur? A:: Because God's Word states that they will occur. This sounds simple and even foolish to the natural mind. However, God's Word specifically states this and confirms it through history. In today's End Times earthquakes will intensify, as 'birth pangs' and a sign, as this generation draws nearer to the final Tribulation period. Scriptures below confirm.
"Where?" are the deadliest earthquakes, tsunamis or hurricanes likeliest to occur? A:: In locations where the greatest sin exists, with God 'looking upon' that location with intensity. History and the Bible are filled with historical facts which prove this. IE: at the cross of Christ [Matthew 27:51]; Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans where Voodoo and organized crime were rampant making N. Orleans 1 of the top sin-ridden cities in America; Haiti, where great sin exists and Voodoo is their national religion; Northridge, California (1994) which is the hub of pornography distribution in America; San Francisco, the homosexual capital of America, etc etc..
